抄録
High strength aluminium and titanium alloys are widely used for aircraft and transportation applications due to their high specific strength. Recently, the development of new advanced materials and fabrication processes have been carried out to improve strength, toughness, resistance to stress corrosion cracking, heat resistance, of those alloys. In this paper, toughness in high strength aluminium and titanium alloys is reviewed.
