抄録

The S = 1/2 antiferromagnetic Heisenberg model with the Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction is applied to Yb4As3. In this paper we calculate the specific heat of this model, mapped onto the isotropic Heisenberg model with both uniform field Bx and staggered field Bsy, by the numerical quantum transfer-matrix (QTM) method and we present new experimental results for the polydomain sample in the applied field.
