Study of the midgap state in oxide superconductors by composite operator approach

抄録

Nature of the midgap state, which develops in the charge transfer gap of oxide superconductors with hole doping, is studied by use of the p-d mixing model with and without the interatomic short distance Coulomb interaction (V-term). Composite operators representing electronic excitations associated with Cu-O bonds are introduced and a generalized mean field theory is developed. The doping dependence of the electronic state can be well described by this approach.
