Study of the boron nitride laser ablated plasma plume with nanosecond and femtosecond pulses

抄録

The plasma plume created above a hexagonal boron nitride target by nanosecond and femtosecond laser ablation was investigated. The plasma plume was studied using space-resolved optical emission spectroscopy. Unique differences of ablation characteristics between long and short laser pulses were identified in terms of charge states.
