抄録

This study was conducted in order to examine the effect of initial bacterial density, soil particle concentration, soil particle size and seawater concentration on the adsorption of coliform group and enterococcus to soil particles. The quantities of coliform group and enterococcus which adsorbed soil particles increased with initial bacterial density, but decreased with soil particle concentration. Soil particle size affected the quantity and percentage of coliform group which adsorbed soil particles, but did not affect those of enterococcus.
