T1 - Site selectivity of alkali metal ions in KxRb3-xC60

N2 - We observed crystal structures of KxRb3-xC60 by X-ray diffraction, and found that Rb ions preferentially occupied octahedral interstitial sites. In the case of K2RbC60, Rb and K ions are accommodated in octahedral and tetrahedral sites respectively. As for the case of KRb2C60, Rb and K ions in tetrahedral interstitial sites were found to be in a random fashion by anomalous X-ray diffraction.
