N2 - The nasolabial region is one of the most useful donor sites for flaps used in the reconstruction of facial defects. The nasolabial flap is the most common flap obtained from this region, although some other types of cutaneous, mucous, or composite flaps such as a facial artery musculomucosal flap or an axial island cheek flap were obtained. The nasolabial flap can be used by itself or combined with other types of local flaps to reconstruct not only the nose or lips but also the eyelids. Here, we describe our surgical procedure for reconstruction of palpebral defects using the nasolabial flap.
