Micro IR spectroscopic studies were performed for understanding the structure of interfacial geofluids on silicate minerals in range from ambient condition to supercritical state. Molecular scale fluid structures of H2O and CO2 on metal and quartz were well structured up to 400°C for H2O and 50°C for CO2. Interfacial fluids on quartz were considered to be constrained in both cases of H2O and CO2. Structured fluid properties have been remained even in supercritical states for H2O and CO2, which may have considerable effect for water-rock interaction in high temperatures and pressures.
