N2 - We have reported that honeycomb-patterned porous films can be prepared by casting polymer solution under humid condition by using condensed water droplets formed on a solution surface as templates. Here, we report the preparation of honeycomb-patterned films of photo-crosslinking agents and microdot structures by using this method. The chloroform solution of the photo-crosslinking agents and amphiphilic copolymer was cast on a petri dish under humid condition. After UV irradiation to the cast solution, the cross-linked honeycomb-patterned film was obtained. After dipping the film in chloroform and applying an ultrasonic wave, the hexagonal dot-array structure was observed on the surface of the films by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
