title = "Photoelectron recapture as a tool for the spectroscopy of ionic Rydberg states",
abstract = "The use of photoelectron recapture process, due to the post collision interaction (PCI) with Auger electrons, for populating the inner valence Rydberg excitations of ions was investigated. The method in combination with high-resolution low-energy spectrometry permitted the study of intermultiplet Auger transitions. The method was successful in resolving the multiplet structure of the initial states in the transition up to n=9. The method is expected to have general applicability to light atoms and molecule containing first or second row atoms.",
