抄録
A concise method for the synthesis of [n]cyclo-1,3-pyrenylenes has been developed. A Ni-mediated macrocyclization was found effective for the one-pot macrocyclization of the corresponding dibromide. Macrocyclic congeners of n = 5 and 6 were isolated and identified to show an interesting feature in UVvis spectra in comparison with relevant macrocycles.
