N2 - A photoacoustic effect dependent on wavelength is studied using a dye laser system. The wavelength of this laser system to induce a photoacoustic signal can be arbitrarily selected between 570 nm and 720 nm. Some samples with a layered structure were evaluated using this system. Wavelength dependence and images of the photoacoustic signal obtained by experiments present the possibility that the layered structure of the sample is separately observed in each layer.
