The cubic-to-tetragonal martensitic transformation temperature T//m(H) under magnetic fields H in Nb//3Sn is investigated by detecting the electrical resistance anomaly associated with the transformation. Fields up to 12 T are applied along left bracket 110 right bracket of the single crystal with RR equals 8, T//c equals 18. 2 K and T//m(0) equals 38. 8 K. T//m(H) decreases by 0. 3 K at H equals 12 T and its field dependence is found to be left bracket T//m(H) minus T//m(0) right bracket /T//m(0) equals minus (0. 17 plus or minus 0. 03) left bracket mu //BH/k//BT//m(0) right bracket **2. This is analyzed successfully by using the GAMMA //1//2 subband model. Discussions are also given focusing on the comparison with V//3 Si.
