Intrinsic noise temperature(T_N) and upper frequency limit for YBCO Josephson devices on bicrystal substrates have been studied. It was demonstrated that T_N could be obtained as low as their physical temperature (T_P) in the range from 4.2K to 77K. Also, it was found that the devices could operate well into the terahertz range.
