A low-dimensional organic-inorganic perovskite compound, (C ₄H₈N₂H₄)₂PbBr ₆·2H₂O, was synthesized from cyclic amines and PbBr₂ by using a hydrothermal reaction. The versatile optical properties caused by the quantum confinement structure were investigated.
