抄録

To evaluate the service life of superheater tubes, a new high temperature corrosion test technique was developed where specimens are surrounded by double layers of corrosives. The effects of a rare earth addition to 316HTB stainless steel (316-X) on high temperature corrosion was examined by this technique.
