The data corresponding to a KamLAND detector exposure of 0.28 kton yr, that has been used to search for v̄e's was analyzed. It was assumed that all v̄e flux had its origin in the Sun and had the characteristics 8B solar v8 energy spectrum. An upper limit of 3.7 ×102 cm-1s-1 on the v̄e flux was obtained. The limit on the product of the neutrino transition magnetic moment μ and the transverse component of the magnetic field BT in the Sun at a radius of 0.05Rs was also obtained.
