N2 - Frequency characteristics of self-sustained intensity oscillation of a laser diode, introduced by a delayed electrical feedback using an optical fiber, is investigated. A step-index multimode fiber is utilized as an optical delay line, and it is found that the spectral profile of the self-sustained intensity oscillation follows the baseband frequency response of the fiber.
