N2 - This paper reports a unique fluorescence polarization (FP) imaging system with a microchip applicable to multisample simultaneous FP immunoassay. The measurement principle of the system has already been reported [1]. In this work, we present a FP imaging immunoassay for multisample of physiologically active substances (prostaglandin E2, PGE2). FP signals of all samples in the captured by an image sensor were imaged simultaneously, and their values were acquired separately from the image analysis. The analytical performance of this assay system was comparable to that of conventional apparatus. The result is the first demonstration of the multisample FP imaging immunoassay.
