A theory, which explained the phenomenon of spin-current emission into adjacent conductors was presented. In accordance with Gilbert phenomenology, in a single-magnetic film in contact with a normal-metal layer, spin-flip processes in the latter viscously slowed down the coherent precession of the ferromagnet. The formulated theory was used to explain ferromagnetic resonance experiments on magnetic multilayer systems.
