N2 - The characteristics of composite right- and left-handed (CRLH) transmission lines periodically loaded with varactors, which exhibit the symmetrical dependence of capacitances on applied voltages, are discussed. The condition of CRLH line parameters for the development of solitons is described together with its numerical validation.
