抄録

The induced orbital disordering and ferromagnetism in LaMnO3 by Mn site substitution was discussed. The influence of several cations was investigated to separate a valency effect from a magnetic effect coming from the substituting cation. The high temperature susceptibility measurements showed that orbital ordering was destroyed by divalent cations.
