抜粋

This paper is a report of studies carried out to investigate the cracking properties of axially-reinforced concrete specimens (hereafter called RC specimen) subjected to the influence of tension and/or drying. The following facts were ascertained. When drying shrinkage of concrete is restrained by reinforcement, the value L//0//. //9//5**(**u**) with 95% fractile in the distribution of the crack spacing is approximately the same as maximum spacing L//m//a//x in the case of tensile loading of reinforcement. The spacing of transverse cracks due to axially loaded wet specimens in tension conforms to logarithmic normal distribution, and L//0//. //9 divided by 2 L//0//. //1 is more or less true.
