Conductivity of copper powders with and without surface treatment

抄録

In order to obtain good conductive composite coatings, the conductive behavior of the metal powders used must be understood. This paper describes a new method, requiring only simple apparatus, to measure the conductivity of copper powders. The relation between conductivity and bulk density shows an inflection point. The conductivity is influenced by the shape of the copper powders and their grain size and surface area, and by the amount of oxide and organic films.
