抄録

The chemistry of C1 compounds in near-critical water (NCW) and supercritical water (SCW) is reviewed with respect to the present state of research activity in this field. The C1 compounds considered include carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, formic acid, methanol, methane, and chlorinated methanes. All of the reactions treated are those that have been conducted over a temperature range from 250 to 660° and a pressure range from 4 to 40 MPa.
