Assessing the intended enthusiasm of singing voice using energy variance

研究成果: Conference contribution

抄録

Singing enthusiasm is a new concept to evaluate singing voice, and the perceived enthusiasm have been shown to be able to be estimated accurately. However, the intended enthusiasm is still difficult to estimate. In this paper, methods to discriminate intended enthusiasm are examined. First, a simple method using the features used for estimation of the perceived enthusiasm is tested, but the discrimination rate was low. Then a method to use temporal deviation of power distribution is examined, and 72% discrimination rate was obtained.
