Analytical study on two-phase MHD flow of electrically conducting magnetic fluid

抄録

Boiling two-phase duct flows of an electrically conducting magnetic fluid and an electrically non-magnetic fluid have been analysed to clarify the effect of ferromagnetic properties of the working fluid on the performance of a two-phase liquid metal MHD power generator. It has been shown that a larger driving force and total pressure rise can be obtained when using an electrically conducting magnetic fluid. The main results have been presented graphically.
