In this study, microphase separated structures of a series of block copolymers, which were made of multiple poly(styrene-block-butadiene) (SB) linked at each PB end, were studied by transmission electron microtomography. Depending on the number of SB block copolymer, we obtained star block copolymers with 1 to 4 arms. The 1-armed block copolymer, that is diblock copolymer, exhibited cylindrical morphology. With increasing the number of arms, the morphology changed from cylinder to a mixture of cylinder and network structure. In the 4-armed star SB block copolymer, a large portion of the morphology turned out to be the network morphology.
