Abstract

This investigation of year-to-year climatic changes in the Far East was based on data for monthly mean temperature, sunshine duration and total precipitation for the months of August 1901- 1975. Year to year changes of temperature were synchronous in the WSW- ENE direction. 7-8 and 10-11 yr cycles were detected in patterns of temperature and sunshine duration. The 10-11 periodicity at Asahikawa is related to the sunspot cycle. -from Author
