N2 - The structure of [(E,E)-3,4-bis(2,4,6-tri-t-butylphenylphosphinidene)-1,2-bis(trimethylsi lyl)cyclobutene]tetracarbonylmolybdenum(O) has been analyzed by X-ray crystallography. The structure of the free ligand, diphosphinidenecyclobutene, has also been analyzed and compared with that of the metal carbonyl complex.
