N2 - Combined with pulsed magnets, we have carried out X-ray diffraction experiments under magnetic fields above 30 T. A key technique is that we employed a very small pulsed magnet, which is readily included in a conventional X-ray diffraction system because of the small size, small required energy, and small heat production. The insulator-to-metal transition of Pr 0.6Ca0.4MnO3 around 9 T and the valence transition of YbInCu4 around 26 T are shown as demonstrations.
