A series of wind tunnel tests have been conducted to reveal the growth mch mechanism of wind-induced oscillations and the aerodynamic stability of suspended roofs using one-way type, pretensioned suspended roof models. Measurements of the roof-flow interaction effect on the dynamic response as well as the characteristics of the response were made by varying the value of each structural parameter. The experimental results were examined based on the characteristics of the pressure field and the theoretical results of nonlinear dynamic response analysis.
