Abstract

Widely-tunable terahertz (THz)-wave generation from 2 to 20 THz can be achieved in DAST crystal by collinear mixing of dual wavelengths in the range 1300-1450 nm. Output energy of 12 nJ/pulse at 4.4 THz and 152 nJ/pulse at 19 THz was obtained at pump energy of 0.6 mJ/pulse.
