Abstract

This communication describes versatile vapochromic behavior that is accompanied by a phase change between charge-polarization (CP) and charge-density-wave (CDW) states with increasing and decreasing temperature in [{NH3-(CH2)5NH3}2] [Pt2(pop)4I]·4H2O (pop = P 2H2O5 2-) (1).
