Abstract
Mg100-xPdx (x = 10, 15, 20 and 30) and (Mg 0.9Pd0.1)100-yNiy (y = 5, 10, 15 and 20) amorphous alloys have been studied from the viewpoint of their microhardness. The micro-Vickers hardness of these amorphous alloys shows a tendency to increase with decreasing the interatomic spacing.
