Abstract
We have observed unique luminescence properties of rare earth ion-doped PI nanoparticles in 6FDA-ODA and 6FDA-6F PI system. The absorption intensity in IR and UV spectra decreased with increases in UV-irradiation times and was decreased by a thermal treatment after the UV-irradiation treatment. On the other hand, in BPDA-PDA system, the enhancement of luminescence and the decrease in absorption intensity were not observed. Therefore, it is considered that a photolysis and a thermolysis led to the enhancement and the decrease in the luminescence intensity.
