Abstract

We investigate the design and optimization of an optically clocked transistor array (OCTA) OEIC for high-speed serial-to-parallel and parallel-to-serial conversion of asynchronous burst optical packets. >100-Gb/s switching operation is achieved in a proof-of-principle demonstration.
