Abstract

The authors made a femtosecond pump-probe measurement for SnO2 nanocrystals sensitized by Ru(bpy)2(dcbpy) with a time resolution of 70 fs under applied biases. The stimulated emission decay for the 1MLCT state has been found for the first time in this system. The decay time changes from 70 fs to 320 fs by changing the bias from 0 to -0.7 V. By analyzing the dependence of the stimulated emission decay and the luminescence decay on the applied bias, the interfacial CS from the singlet (1MLCT) and triplet (3MLCT) excited states of Ru(bpy)2(dcbpy) is discussed.
