Abstract
Martensitic transformation temperatures and the two-way shape memory effect (TWME) of cold-rolled Ti-Ni and Ti-Ni-Fe alloys are investigated with a dilatometer (DL). While the characteristic features of martensitic (M) transformation temperatures are basically consistent with previous findings on Ti-Ni alloys, the TWME directions of Ti-Ni-Fe specimens were found to be opposite those of the Ti-Ni alloys.
