Abstract
A all liquid phase process was used to fabricate 2 m-long and small-bore fluorocarbon polymer (FCP) coated silver hollow glass waveguides. The transmission properties of the hollow waveguides were analyzed experimentally. The hollow waveguides with the inner diameters of 700 μm and 540 μm showed the total straight transmission losses for the laser light as about 0.4 dB and 1.0 dB respectively.
