Time-resolved magneto-optical experiments in Cd1-xMnxTe/ZnTe multiple quantum wells

Abstract

Optical pump-probe experiments conducted in CdMnTe/ZnTe multiple quantum wells (MQWs) showed two-pump probe signals of opposite sign. The first one indicated that as the exciton density is higher, the exciton absorption reduces. The second signals showed that the absorption of the new excitons happen after the original exciton has decayed. The experiments suggested a ferromagnetic polaron-polaron interaction.
