Abstract

Reliable process technology is required in order to prepare the high Tc NBN layers with good surface and interface morphologies. The preparation of highly oriented MgO films is of great scientific interest and of practical applications such as tunnel junction fabrication. For practical purposes, the textured MgO films can be used as underlayer to deposit other oriented films on top.
