Abstract

Effects of Ba filling fraction and Fe content on thermoelectric properties of Ba2+ -filled p-type skutterudite compounds BayFexCo4-xSb12(x = 1.0-1.6, y = 0-0.63) were investigated. Effects of oxidation valence of filling atoms on electrical transport properties of filled skutterudeite compounds were also discussed.The greatest ZT value of 0.9 was obtained for Co-rich Ba0.27 FeCo3Sb12.
