Abstract

Thermal reaction of a bis(silyl) complex Ru{κ3Si,Si,N-2,6- (Me2SiCH2)2C5H3N}(CO) 3 in refluxing toluene gave a dinuclear ruthenium complex Ru 2(μ-SiMe2)[(Me2SiCH2)C 5H3N{CH2Si(Me)CH2}C 5H3N(CH2SiMe3)](CO)4, which has a 3c-2e Ru-Si-C interaction.
