Abstract

Superlattice medium is one of promising candidates for high density perpendicular recording media. In the present study, thermal agitation of magnetization and recording performance were discussed for Co(B)/Pd superlattice perpendicular recording media as a function of Co or CoB layer thickness, δCo or DCoB. The total superlattice thickness is 10-14 nm.
