Abstract

A study on the calculation of the tunneling conductance in ferromagnetic metal/superconducting junctions was performed. The spin polarization at Fermi energy of metals was measured and analyzed in a superconducting quantum point contact using the property of Andreev reflection (AR). It was revealed that the a wide variety of tunneling conductance was obtained and found to depend on the exchange interaction in the ferromagnet and geometry of the quantum wire.
