Abstract

We theoretically study the time evolution of the electron density distribution on a two-dimensional electron gas, which suddenly couples with a discrete level. Depending on the relative position between a discrete level and the Fermi level (Ef), a "dip" or a "peak" of electron density appears after a discrete level couples with the two-dimensional electron gas. Moreover, we clarify the mechanism or dip and peak formation by projection analysis.
