N2 - We investigate the electron states of the coupled quantum dot system with a two-dimensional electron gas by numerically studying the two-dimensional tight-binding lattice in the magnetic fields. In this system, it is expected that the electron states are remarkably changed by the magnetic fields. We show coupling and decoupling between the two-dimensional tight binding-lattice and the quantum dot depending on the magnetic fields. Moreover, we also discuss the magnetic field induced modulation of minority carrier injection from electrodes to an inversion layer.
