N2 - In August of 2002, we surveyed the zooplankton community of an inland saline lake in West Siberia, Russia—Lake Chany. Thirty species were found, including cladocerans, copepods, and rotifers. The dominant cladocerans were Daphnia longispina, Daphnia magna, Ceriodaphnia reticulata, and Chydorus sphaericus; the dominant copepods were the calanoids Eudiaptomus graciloides and Arctodiaptomus salinus.
