Abstract

In this paper, we propose a definition to measure the strength of interaction among proteins with a focus on duality in terms of the convex geometry. Next, we introduce a notion of efficiency on network structures generated by proteins and estimate the asymptotic behavior of the efficiency as the number of proteins is large enough. Our results give the relationship between the effective time scales in view of dynamics and the size of networks.
